Softbox — a Key Light app for Mac and iPhone

↳ about

control an elgato key light from the menu bar, or from your phone
personal project, designed and built by danor beker

↳ why

I have an Elgato Key Light Air on my desk. The official app does the job but not the feel. I wanted something that lives in the menu bar, and a phone app that is just a lamp you touch.

↳ what it is

Mac menu bar app: brightness, temperature, presets
iPhone app: a full screen glowing lamp, presets as dots you move
gentle reactions to events, like a new email or a coding agent finishing a task, as soft fades, never blinking
